I need to ask a huge favor of everyone. If you are reading this right now, I need your help. You see, I'm (most likely) going to Warped Tour this summer. The main reason I'm going is to see Underoath, since they aren't going on a summer headlining tour. This will be my first time seeing them live (alhough I've already met them once.) I would absolutely love it if they would play "A Boy Brushed Red...Living In Black And White." But, I'm not too sure they will because it's one of the older songs. Now, here comes the part where I need your help. If you are reading this right now, I'm begging you, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask Underoath to play "Boy Brushed Red" at Warped. I don't care how you do it, Twitter reply, myspace message, myspace comment, whatever. And don't just do it once. Do it over and over and over. Just as long as they get the point that there are a lot of people who want to hear the song live at Warped. Not only is "Boy Brushed Red" the song that got me into Underoath, it's the song that got me into screamo. I need to hear this song live.  hyperSo right now it is 7:16am on Saturday, May 9th, 2009. I have officialy been able to check off one more goal on my bucket list. BECAUSE I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT! I have been awake since about 6:15 yesterday morning. That makes 25 hours! I was working on my poetry album for English, when I looked at the clock and it said 5am. At that point I just said, "What the heck? I'm not tired. I might as well not go to bed so I can check another item off of my bucket list." So that is exactly what I did. In math class, Mrs. Nowicki talks about how next year in trig, we're gonna have Mr. Stout. We all want her to teach trig next year, but she says that we'll like Mr. Stout. To that, I always say "But Mr. Stout is my study hall teacher and he doesn't like me." After that, Mrs. Nowicki always says, "My study hall kids think I hate them too." And that's what is said every time Mrs. Nowicki says something about Mr. Stout. Well this weekend, a few teachers went on the sophomore trip with the sophomores. Mrs. Nowicki and Mr. Stout were two of the teachers that went. Today in math class: Mrs. Nowicki: "Erica! I was talking to Mr. Stout about you on a roller coaster this weekend!" Me: "Oh, jeez. What'd you say!?" Mrs. Nowicki: "Well, I said 'One of my students is in your study hall and they say that they don't want to have you for math next year because they think you hate them.' And he said 'Well who is it?' And I said 'Erica. She's a very bright girl! You'll love having her.'" Me: "Mrs. Nowicki! Must you!?" Mrs. Nowicki: *laughs* "Oh, I'm not done yet! After I said that, he said, 'Well, that's funny. Because in study hall she always claims that she needs to sit with Chris Dunn so he can help her with math.'" *whole class starts hysterically laughing* Someone: "Chris!?" Someone else: "Are you serious!?" Someone else else: "You're sooooo much smarter than him!" Me: "I can explain! As you all know, I cannot sit quietly for forty minutes! So Chris always sits with me and he's older than me so he gets to pretend to help me so he's just like 'Hey. I'm gonna help Erica in math.' And we just like sit there with a book or SAT prep open in front of us." Mrs. Nowicki: "He also said you go to the library to get tutored...?" Phoebe: *giggles* "That's French" Me: "So all this happened on a roller coaster?" Mrs. Nowicki: "Well, the line too." Me: "Oh..... Wait, did he ever confirm or deny his hate for me?" Mrs. Nowicki: *while writing on the smart board* "Yeah, he doesn't like you." *hysterical laughter again* Mrs. Nowicki: "Oh, I meant to say 'Yeah, he does like you.'" *laughs* Gawd, I love my math class. Hmmm. I'm gonna have to say the Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld. He is a fantastic author. Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras (yes, a four-book trilogy) tell the story of a young girl named Tally who can must give up her personality to become beautiful. Underoath is still the bestest band everrrrrrrrr. I just felt like giving my livejournal a little bit of a bmth feel. :D Oh and about a month ago I went on an Underoath binge. I listened to nothing but Underoath for an entire week. Well because of that, 18 of the top 25 most played songs on my iPod are Underoath. It used to be that like 5 or 6 were. Now it's 18. xD Anywaysssss. Nothing intesting has been happening. So this has been a boring livejournal. So today I had to go to guidance to pick my classes for next year. I decided to drop French and go for the five art credits instead. Next year I'm taking studio art and draw&design. Ima take the last three art classes junior year. French was just dragging my GPA too low. I could be one of the top in my class without French, so I got rid of it. :D And also next year I'm taking video production and creative writing. Go electives! And If I don't like my lunch I'm probably going to add a fifth elective. I think I may be starting to see why my global teacher calls me an over-achiever.
